Right – let’s think about this a bit more. You wanna make music – make beats, and use a beat machine to do it. But there’s that old problem – it costs a bunch of dough to do it – and you ain’t got it. Right!

That was me too – but it’s all changed now. Nothing stays the same for long and now we can grab a cheap computer or laptop to do what would have cost thousands of bucks not so long ago. There are places you can do this for less than thirty dollars and go back again and again to do it again. Really!

The change is like going from the moon to California. It’s that different now, making music. The beat makers online are the answer, and later I will show you some more about that. For now let’s get excited about what we can do today that we couldn’t do yesterday. And we hardly need to learn how to do it because it is all push and click. The software takes the strain!

Just think about this – drum beats, sequencing, loops, produce music beats and instrumentals – in fact you have the whole orchestra at your finger tips – and you can bend them all to your will. And it’s multi track. I love it.

I was like that too. I had it all going on in my head, and even on paper sometimes – but turning the composition into a reality used to drive me crazy. I wanted to experiment – try different things, and I seemed to be always short of what I wanted.

Since then I’ve tried a few things – beat machines and that – and I have to say that it has been a great ride. I have moved on a few years in just a few months and I am now turning out the sort of stuff I only ever dreamed of. Even a kid could do it.

Perhaps you’re a dad, taking the opportunity to keep sane by playing music, but deep down you want more. You want to sit back and listen to something great, some great music sound, and be able to say to yourself, “I did that!” Well you can, and don’t let anybody tell you different. Nowadays the technology has moved on and you can use a drum machine as good as anyone else – whether you are young or old. Age is no barrier to producing great music or audio, or backing tracks, and I’m so glad about that.
