Hi Guys – Are you a keen musician just hanging about making music? (You might even be a professional musician – or heading that way given a break and a fair wind!)

I was like that too. I had it all going on in my head, and even on paper sometimes – but turning the composition into a reality used to drive me crazy. I wanted to experiment – try different things, and I seemed to be always short of what I wanted.

Since then I’ve tried a few things – beat machines and that – and I have to say that it has been a great ride. I have moved on a few years in just a few months and I am now turning out the sort of stuff I only ever dreamed of. Even a kid could do it.

Perhaps you’re a dad, taking the opportunity to keep sane by playing music, but deep down you want more. You want to sit back and listen to something great, some great music sound, and be able to say to yourself, “I did that!” Well you can, and don’t let anybody tell you different. Nowadays the technology has moved on and you can use a drum machine as good as anyone else – whether you are young or old. Age is no barrier to producing great music or audio, or backing tracks, and I’m so glad about that.
